What we say
A beautiful course in great surroundings when in its best condition, the 6,727-yard course at Deer Park Golf & Country Club gives players a good mix of play, with no two holes the same.
This West Lothian course can prove a tough test for high handicap players, especially in wet conditions when the course plays longer. But, on a dry day, good quality golfers will be able to score very well here.
Expansive fairways and wide greens provide forgiveness, but beware the back nine; by far the most challenging nine, as most drives and approach shots are uphill, often into the wind.
Deer Park 6727 yard, par 72 course makes it one of the most exciting courses in the UK. Regarded as one of the finest and most challenging golf courses in the Lothians, this course has hosted British Open Qualifiers and the Scottish PGA Championship. It is currently home to the Deer Park Masters, a PGA order of merit event.
With a practice range, putting green, a fully equipped Pro Shop, showers, locker rooms and everything else a golfer could require. Deer Park enjoys an enviable reputation in the Scottish Golf scene. Located near the M8 and clearly signposted from the roundabout at junction 3.
Voted as Scotland's "most improved golf course" by Alan Tait PGA Professional. Deer Park is a must for any golfer wishing to play the game as it should be.
