Cheap and extremely cheerful par-69 layout on the top of a hill overlooking Pontypool and the Eastern Valley. The course has been entertaining golfers for well over a century and is backed up by views of the Bristol Channel.

Pontypool Golf Club sits on top of a hill, overlooking the town of Pontypool and the Eastern Valley, and offers spectacular views of the surrounding countryside and the Bristol Channel. 

Established in 1903, the golf club has recently celebrated its centenary and provides golfers of all abilities with a great challenge, a warm welcome and an unforgettable experience. The golf club has excellent facilities that include a practice area, chipping and putting greens and a new indoor teaching facility with video cameras, teaching mirrors and explaner golf swing training aid.

The clubhouse has a function room with excellent catering that provides weddings and social evenings, a members' bar and a snooker room.

This is a golf course to be enjoyed – for the views, for the atmosphere but, overall, for the quality of its fairways and greens.
