The Chirk Golf Centre comprises an 18 hole parkland golf course, a 9 hole, par 3 golf course, a 15 Bay Floodlit Driving Range and a Clubhouse with Bar, Carvery and Conference Facilities.
 
 
Located in 200 acres of stunning Welsh countryside, overlooked by Chirk Castle and the Welsh Borders above, Chirk Golf Course makes the most appealing society venue. The Par 72 Championship golf course has won acclaim for fairness and flexibility which can play as short as 5757 yards or, for the really ambitious 7281 yards. Let us know where you want the tees for your day.

The Par 5 9th hole measures some 664 yards from the white tees and is one of the longest in Europe. If you get on in 2 you are guaranteed a free drink in the bar afterwards. Previously forming part of the castle grounds the 18 hole golf course is also bounded by the Llangollen Canal. With mature Parkland, numerous water features and undulating greens you are sure to have a very pleasant and eventful round.

    No not a ball but the course , it has been sold off. one of the longest par 5's in the country gone but not forgotten ....

    What a beautiful test! Hard but fair, like all the best courses. The 9th will stay in your mind for a long time after. Very well kept, friendly staff and players too. I will make it my business to play here again.

    A good course containing a couple of 600 yard holes and fun little 9 holer, spoilt only by the view of the Industrial Estate on the first few holes.
