Brother of the more famous Dr Alister, Charles Mackenzie created this layout north of Copenhagen in 1936. Across gently hilly terrain, streams come into play on at least half a dozen holes. The fairways are generally flanked by trees and scrub and a challenging back nine has three long holes, but just one par 3.

Established in the mid-30's, Rungsted Golf Club offers an 18 hole parkland course designed by C.A. Mackenzie, is situated very close to the bay "Nivå Bugt". The course is built in mature woodland, with tree-lined fairways and a variety of water hazards. The course is also surrounded by abundant flora and fauna.
