Golfe dos Álamos

Is as 18 holes golf course with great views over the water reservoir and the vineyard. The ondulated fairways are tighter than Golfe do Morgado course, and each hole is well delimited by native trees. Greens are smaller comparing with is "brother course", but more ondulated.

  Out in the middle of nowhere along a dusty track, but not a villa in sight and there are some lovely views. No traffic noise so very tranquil. Course is long, with a gentle and fairly uninspiring front 9, with plenty of out of bounds awaiting the wayward and a large irrigation lake. Back 9 climbs up and over and is most spectacular with some challenging holes and lovely scenery. Clubhouse is large but lacking in character. Not worth the green fees, when there are better courses (quality and value) nearby.

  Really nice for a new layout.  The greens and fairways were some of the best we played on during our week of golf.  Great practice facilities and the mountain views were excellent.  Although the access road was a bit rough, we would certainly go back there.  Maybe a little on the expensive side.

  Great course. Little known and so very quiet. But top condition and a real hidden gem.
