What we say

The original 18 holes of Lauro Golf were opened in 1992; these are easily walked and set against a mountain backdrop. A new nine, though, is more muscular and adds needed variety to the experience. Hole names are confusing until you find out every one of the 27 are named after a famous Spanish bullfighter.

tough but fair if you stay on the fairway, with plenty to penalise stray drives, from water to scrub to rough. A better course than the well known alhaurin course. holes 19-27 best up and down hill with great views too.

The new course was good but had just opened. The old course was very enjoyable on previous visits but was closed for renovations.
