A collaboration between Perry Dye and Seve Ballesteros, the New golf course at San Roque has several striking features including waving marram grasses and pot bunkers. The cork trees and lush turf stop this ever being linkslike, though this is a superior golf test and a lot of fun to play. This could be as hard as the old golf course, but wider fairways and five tee positions on each hole make the New more accessible to higher handicappers.

    They say this course is a poor relation to the Old Course! If that is the case then the Old course is a must next time! This course was fabulous! Great variation of holes! Great placing of bunkers both around the greens and on the fairways! Greens that were quite simply unbelievable and the course was in fantastic condition! From the moment we arrived till the minute we left we were treat like royalty and I will defy to believe anybody that can get better value for money elsewhere! 65euros for 18 holes inclusive of buggy! As it is a well defined course there are no silly buggy restrictions which incidently all have GPRS! GO! GO! GO! You will not be disappointed!
