On the shores of Loch Ryan, this undulating parkland boasts splendid views to Ailsa Craig and Arran and lots of par 4s under 400 yards. It’s pleasant, but beware an exacting run of three holes to conclude. The 343-yard 18th – ‘Braid’s Last’ – was the final hole on the final course the great man laid out before his death.
