The Warren Golf Club

What we say

This is a rolling parkland course which will see your stress levels reduced to zero. The Warren is pleasure personified. It’s not long and it’s not difficult, it’s just a very pleasant and enjoyable test of golf. Mature trees mean you have to be accurate while true greens help you hole a lot of putts.

The Warren Golf Club is situated less than an hour's drive away from London and offers a delightful oasis of calm, tranquility and total privacy. Surrounded by mature trees and natural streams, the golf club is protected from modern day interuptions including main roads and housing developments.

The front-nine plays slightly harder than the back does, but the course as a whole is fairly forgiving. Really wayward shots will almost always be punished by the several water hazards and numerous bunkers on the course.

The Warren Golf Club has one of the most charming period clubhouses in the county, or the country! The building is made from a genuine timbered Essex Barn dating back to 1744, and was converted to a clubhouse in 1934, which has been its primary function ever since.

The warren golf course is a testing, attractive mature parkland course making it one of my favorites. The grounds date back to 1774 and have an abundance of wild life. The warren also benefits from friendly staff and welcoming members, making a relaxed atmosphere.

A great course with some challenging holes and a warm and friendly welcome from pro, restaurant, green staff and the members. If you like autumn colours you must go end October early November.
