Boston Golf Club

What we say

The overall friendliness of the place is immediately evident, and it’s a clever little course. Most of the holes call for thought off the tee rather than an automatic big biff with the driver. It’s not a long course off the yellow tees, but start blasting away thoughtlessly with the driver and you could soon be running up big numbers. Because the course is bordered on all sides by waterways, the fairways are nice and lush and the rough is kept well-trimmed and is very playable. And, at just £15 a day when using a 2-FORE!-1 voucher, it is exceptional value for money. The star hole is the 18th, which, at a mere 335-yards, looks on paper to be a piece of cake. But trouble on both sides makes accuracy off the tee paramount, and the second shot into the narrow and sloping green has to avoid water at the front and trees on both sides.

Boston Golf Club is a pleasant, testing parkland golf course where water comes into play at a number of holes and it’s renowned for the quality of its greens.

Expect a warm welcome, both on and off the golf course.

Played this at weekend and while not blown away thought it was a decent test of golf. Greens weren't great which was a big let down and it took us nearly five hours to get round because of slow play ahead but on a nice day it is a place that can make you feel good about your golf
