Copt Heath Golf Club

What we say

A classic heathland/parkland combination that drains superbly and is playable year-round.

This renowned private members’ golf club, ranked in top 100 in England, was founded in 1907 and designed by Harry Vardon, whose original layout was subsequently enhanced by Harry S Colt, whose famously designed bunkers adorn the course on 96 occasions.  In April, each year, the Peter McEvoy Trophy (named in honour of probably its most famous member) is held for the best juniors in the Country and Europe.  This event has produced many famous winners – Peter Baker, Lee Westwood, Brian Davis, Steve Webster & Justin Rose. Anyone visiting  the Club can be confident that they will have a very enjoyable game, where they will need to play well to achieve a good score, followed by a warm welcome in the well appointed clubhouse.
