Halesowen Golf Club

What we say

It’s hard to believe that this splendid green oasis can be found – if you’re lucky (it’s not the easiest place to find) –  amidst the sprawling suburbia of England’s second city. But it is and the Halesowen Golf Club is something of a hidden gem. Well worth taking the time and trouble to tee it up. It’s a classy parkland venue steeped which gets considerably better after a slow start with the opening two short par 4s sharing the bsame fairway. Apparently former US president Thomas Jefferson used to play here when he was in town. He was a good judge.

Halesowen Golf Club is currently celebrating its centenary year and is rightly proud of its grade 1 listed clubhouse.

It was in good condition considering following a recent spate of bad weather. The stroke index 1 par 4 5th really lives up to its billing.
