Opened in 1993, Alder Root is a 10 hole course with 18 separate tees making it a challenging 18 hole woodland course with many natural hazards.

It is a very friendly Golf club, with Gents, Ladies, Seniors and Junior sections and regular competitions for all. There is a well stocked Pro Shop,Bar & Lounge Area, and ample parking.

    Its ok, it has a municipal feel to it, the idea of using different tees to create different holes is a good use of budget, but to become a better club you need 18. I like the 5/14th its really short but you have to be creative.
