Dunham Forest Golf and Country Club

What we say

This stunning 18-hole championship golf course was designed by John Bealey and modified by ex-Ryder Cup player and top international course designer Dave Thomas to follow the picturesque contours of the natural landscape. He achieved this so successfully that today the golf club is proud to be considered one of the most beautiful in the UK.

Dunham Forest Golf & Country Club's rural location is far from being out of reach.

Conveniently situated between the M6 and the M56, it is close to Manchester International Airport and within 30 minutes drive of both Manchester and Liverpool city centres.

  • 4 out of 5 great day

    By JUJITSU

had a greatday. good game of golf and some good memmbers, only 1 bad piont was that two former captains came of hole six and pushed in front of us on the twelth tee saying they had priorty over us as they could not carry on the 7th to 11th as no elec trollys were allowed, but found other members were friendly, will play again

  • 4 out of 5 A worthwhile trip north

I had read a couple of reviews that rated the course, but not the welcome. I was pleased with both. We played on a day that followed some VERY heavy rain, and were imformed that the course was very wet, however, I found it held up very well. The greens were excellent and the design- with the exception of a couple of holes was very good. I would recommend a visit, but dont try and get a coffee before 10.30, or ask for a bacon roll, as they apparently dont serve bacon& sausage
