  I have played mersey valley on a number of occasions and each time they have been with vouchers for a meal b4 or after. the prices with the vouchers are excellent value but even without the vouchers this is one of the best priced rounds in the region. the course is undergoing work at the moment but it does not really affect playability. greens are always in excellent condition and fairways are always good. the work being carried out has only affected the tee off area of a couple of holes and same with the fairways. the hospitality of the club is 2nd to non from reception through to the bar and service staff. the food is excellent if u are hungry b4 or after yr round and the prices are very reasonable i would recommend this course as i do anyway to any golfer of any ability. as it is i am returning over this weekend. please dont be put off by the work. go and enjoy a good round at a well maintained course with great staff and surroundings thanks ged.
