Wychwood Park Golf Club

What we say

This picturesque US-style layout has come on nicely since opening less than a decade ago and is a particularly tough proposition off the back tees (nearly 7,000 yards), specially bearing in mind the numerous water hazards.

Course management is absolutely vital and even then you should still expect to lose at least one ball. It’s certainly not a track where you can grip and rip it.

Wychwood offers quality amenities and overall good value-for-money – particularly if you’ve got a 2-FORE!-1 voucher handy!

It’s a fine De Vere stay and play venue and the course is a particularly tough proposition off the back tees (nearly 7,000 yards), specially bearing in mind the numerous water hazards.

  • 5 out of 5 Wychwood and water!

    By Jammo04

This is a gem of a golf course that takes on more water than the Titanic. There are some very testing holes that require some tactical iron shots like the 7th and the 14th and the par 3's are a joy especially the 6th and 17th. The only downside if there is one is that if you don't use a buggy you may find your having to let those that do, play through like we did. We will definatley be returning and this time may invest in the transport. Excellent value with the 2 fore 1 vouchers but they do have other offers that include buggy hire that are worth considering!

Excellent course. Definately very challenging and enjoyable. Wouldn't recommend for those new to the game. The course is long and every shot demands full concentration. Definately play again!

Where do i start?! This is not for the faint hearted or anyone after an easy game, the course is long and any wayward shots are punished. Fromm the tee boxes through to the greeens - everything is what you would expect from a course of this quality!! Each hole is a test and there are no easy holes everyone demands 100% attention!! The greens are magnificent and run true. The only gripes are the small walk between some of the holes but overall if you want a great game of golf i cannot recommend this enough!! Handily located off the M6 at J16 - you cant go wrong!!
