What we say

Bury Golf Club was founded in 1890. We are a friendly club, welcoming both new members or guests who just want to play the course. The Club has a rich history and strong links with the famous Harry Vardon, who won the Open championship on six occasions. Harry was once the Professional at Bury having arrived in the North West of England from Jersey.

We are committed to ensuring our guests have a great day when they visit us so you can be sure we provide all the facilities you would expect from a Club with our history and reputation.
