This little-known venue has a lot going for it in an area bereft of quality courses. The par-72 course is a splendid Donald Steel design, flat and easy walking but challenging too with natural dykes featuring on several holes.

Designed by a legendary modern-day golf course architect, Donald Steel, Boothferry Golf Club is one of the most enjoyable easy walking meadowland courses in East Yorkshire, popular with many visiting golfers. The Club is also one of the most welcoming and freindly in the area to both for visitors and new members. This established East Yorkshire course in a tranquil setting within the Vale of York is a pleasing test featuring natural dykes that occasionally provide additional challenges on a number of holes!

  Great course , nice to walk , great selection of par 3s 4s and 5s friendly staff in pro shop and 19th . Play it . You won't be disappointed.

  Very easy Par 73. Very open for drives so unless you are horrendously off line you are likely to have a reasonable lie. Imagine it gets fairly wet after a lot of rain as fairly soggy when played. Not a particularly tough test bet quite enjoyable nevertheless. Would consider playing again. Staff friendly and snack good.

  Nice but nothing special, fairly wide open but watch out for the numerous ditches that zig zag through the course. Nice food
