Easingwold Golf Club

What we say

Easingwold Golf Club lies about half a mile from the charming market town of Easingwold, looking across fields to the village of Crayke and the foothills of the North York Moors beyond.

Being in the flat Vale of York, the golf course is not physically demanding but it is a true test of golf and if you are to achieve a good score, you must be accurate. It is popular with golfing societies and corporate groups, who turn up on a regular basis from far and wide. It has good clubhouse facilities and offers attractive day packages.

A course which looks easy but presents challenges for all standards of golfers.  An attractive course, each hole is defined by trees.  Two holes vie for the title 'signature hole'.  The pond hole requires a tee shot over a stream and then the pond to a raised green.  My favourite is the Eighteenth.  Eagles are possible but the hole can be a card-wrecker.  A great day out!

Played this course as part of a break around the York area and they welcomed the 2 fore 1 vouchers. Members and staff very helpful and friendly and the course was in top condition thanks to the army of greenstaff. Mature woodland bounds each hole and greens are in top order. The 18th is a challenging finishing hole !
