Wortley Golf Club

What we say

A scenic course to the north of Sheffield, Wortley has one par 5, long par 4s and five par 3s. It has quality greens and several testing holes – the uphill 8th and the tree-guarded 11th stand out. A quick, trouble-free round is common.

Golf has been played at Wortley for over 100 years on a course first established and developed by the Second Earl of Wharncliffe and still forms part of the Wharncliffe Estate today. Club policy is to continuously improve the course and facilities. Visitors can expect to enjoy a top quality golf course, courteous and helpful staff, combined with excellent catering and bar service in comfortable and tasteful surroundings.
