Sand Moor Golf Club’s golf course has wonderful panoramic views over Eccup reservoir and shows all the hallmarks of its creator Dr Alister Mackenzie, specially its greens. Sand Moor is particularly noted of its superb quartet of par 3s and their well-guarded greens.Superb short holes.

Sand Moor Golf Club has produced some leading players over the years, including 1993 Amateur Champion Iain Pyman and 1992 English Champion Stuart Cage.
