Richmond Park Golf Club – Dukes Course

What we say

Richmond Park Golf Course is a daily fee golf course, open to the public without restrictions of membership requirements. You simply turn up and enjoy your game on our two beautifully maintained 18-hole golf courses.

Dukes is the flatter and longer of the two golf courses. There is a stream running across the course that comes into play on six holes, making golf club choice an important part of your game here.

The greatest challenge on Dukes is the 425yd par 4 seventh. A severe left dogleg, the stream is 200 yards from the tee and it's out of bounds all along the left. The green is raised and protected front left by a deep bunker. A par here is always a great result.

Race to the Algarve

If the thought of winter golf is too much to bear, then how about this to keep you going: 'Race to the Algarve' is a fun 9-hole golf league open to all, starting at Richmond Park Golf Course on 5th December, 2014. The league will be played every Friday over the winter in a series of 10 games, culminating in a grand final at the end of February 2015.

The league champion wins a week's stay in a luxury villa in Vale de Lobo, surrounded by the very best golf courses that Portugal's coastline has to offer. The villa is supplied courtesy of Owners Direct, sleeps up to 6 people and comes with it's own private roof terrace. Runner-up prizes include a Motocaddy S1 Digital Trolley and Golfbuddy GPS Wristwatch.

Nick McArthur, Sales Manager for Richmond Park Golf Course explains: "Race to the Algarve is about having fun and making the most of golf this winter - everyone is welcome and no official handicap is required. It's only £15 to enter each game, which includes green fees. The 9-hole format makes is perfect for a quick round and bite to eat afterwards in our new clubhouse."

Your Reviews

  • 4 out of 5 Satisfied - great day out

Had a good experience at Richmond Park GC. The staff were friendly and helpful. I rented clubs with no hassle and was happy with what I was given - especially the putter. Played on Duke's - some nice long holes. Generally quite a forgiving course if you go wayward off the tee. Greens were in good shape. Food and beers afterwards were spot on.

  • 2.5 out of 5 good pay and play in west london

Richmopnd offers 2 courses dukes and princes, i prefer the dukes, have played a number of times this season. The course offers good paced greens though untidy tee boxes and slow play are a problem (on both) also both are afflicted by lack of sand in bunkers so best avoided. However all in all a relatively easy course but fun if your not in a rush.
