  • 3 out of 5 Winter golf

This is the 3rd time I've been to course recently I've ignored the condition on the course due to nice weather with makes it easier to play. Today was a cold windy day, only the back nine was open.(I have never played the front nine with out a temp) Considering this there was no grounds team seen. Also considering there is no range, the putting green was uncut and impossible to get any practice in. If your not going to close the whole course look after what is there that's all I say. Restaurant and golf shop really friendly staff and really helpful.

  • 3.5 out of 5 For the Beginner............

For someone who is just returning to golf following a 15 yr absence, I found this course quite challenging. Nicely set out with plenty of room between fairways and although not long is quite a treck with plenty of undulation in the fairways. My only criticism would be the amount of unrepaired divots in the fairways. Enjoyable and will return to hopefully improve my game on, as I stated a challenging course for the beginner. Quite pricey for a pay and play course in this area but does offer a bit more than some of the others

This course is a real bargain, varied holes lots of up & down. There has been extensive work going on the last couple of times I've played there. It can get a bit boggy in places in the wet whether its new owners of fairly stiff competetion in this part of Kent for the pay & play market the course stands up well some clubs where you could pay £10-£15 more to get on. Not overly long but most of the holes are separated from one another on an attractive mature site - plenty of places to get into trouble if you're having a dodgy day off the tee.
