Mill Hill Golf Club

What we say

This hidden gem in the heart of north London is set in attractive parkland, and is lined by mature trees throughout. There are several water hazards so shot-making needs to be accurate. Gentle undulations make it easy-walking.

The par-3 2nd hole is played over a water hazard, and is a potential early card-wrecker. Club selection is all important, especially if it’s breezy.

The design and the condition of the woodland course are first class. No two holes are alike and each is visually isolated from the others. The star hole is the 407-yard, par-4 17th.

Founded in 1925, the clubhouse is a picturesque old coach house, which offers a wide range of facilities and services based around an 18-hole golf course that was first laid out by J F Abercrombie in 1923, designer of many fine courses including Worpledon, Coombie Hill and The Addington.

The 18 holes are all individually designed and set in 145 acres of mature woodland on the borders of Hertfordshire and North London. It is situated just a couple of par fours away from Apex Corner and the M25, at the gateway to the metropolis of London.

  • 4 out of 5 A Parkland treat..

    By Paul Bragg

A very nice course with some very tricky holes that will leave you wishing to come back as soon as possible to try and better your score.. After a walk under the A1 you're ready for a course that has receptive greens and some forgiving holes but also for a course that get's you thinking bout each shot you play. Testing Par 3's and a Par 4's that give you a chance of birdie. Definately worth playing, especially during the week when they accept the 2-fore-1 vouchers... 2 rounds (one with a buggy) for a very reasonable price.
