Stockley Pines Golf Club

What we say

Stockley Park Golf Club is still relatively new in golf course terms - it opened in 1993 - but it is a very well designed and maintained layout that is both interesting and playable. It has matured well during its 14 year existence but is no stroll in the park - the first two holes are over 400 yards while three of the par 3s are over 200 yards. The greens are quite large with several being raised, calling for precision approach shots. There's plenty of water about too though it really only comes into play on three holes.

  • 2 out of 5 Never again...shockingly managed course

    By Eternal

FOUR HOURS FOR 11 HOLES AND HAD TO WALK IN BECAUSE IT GOT TOO DARK.. I had been told it wasn't busy but I was waiting to hit on every hole from the 2nd. no one was allowed to play through, no matter the size of group, course marshall appeared to be delivering players to empty holes to allow them to play, paying no heed to the VERY slow groups on the course. 4 2balls infront of me combined to make 2 4balls but were stuck behind 2 3balls being held up by more 4balls.JOKE...

  • 2 out of 5 Good day spoiled by parking fine

    By Lee

After enjoying a pleasant round over the bank holiday,I returned to my car to discover I had a £100 parking fine. Got to the club at 11:15am and got a ticket at 1:30pm. I wasn't made aware of any visitor permits that are needed. Avoid this course at all costs!!

  • 1 out of 5 Great for Parking Fines

Avoid unless you like paying £100 to park there. Terrible course, restaurant and bar. Golf course has seen better days.

  • 3.5 out of 5 All for £10

Played this course November 2010,  For public course , expected few dodgy greens, but fairways good condition. Went across bridge for holes 11 to 14th and the fairways for this time of year were as good as it gets. 4 ball £40 with 2 fore 1 vouchers,  and you wont get better value anywhere for this price. Another plus is the food upstairs , great value.
