Hampton Court Palace Golf Club

What we say

A quality golf course in a quality setting: the golf course - a traditional parkland/inland links combination - sits in the grounds of one of the country's greatest royal palaces. The unique course dates from 1895 and has been re-modelled by Willie Park, the designer of Royal Birkdale and Sunningdale.

A new clubhouse opened four years ago and provides full facilities for golfers plusĀ a function room for events and parties.

  • 4 out of 5 Links style

Great to play a course that is so different from the norm in surrey..an in land links with smooth greens and tight firm fairways, very rewarding and a great setting.

  • 5 out of 5 Fantastic course

    By John Jones

Played there last week, fantastic course with well cared for greens and fairways. Lovely scenic views compliment the undulating and challenging (but achievable) fairway play. All in all a great course with a great feel to it. Will definitely play here again and worth travelling some distance to play. Topped off with a great atmosphere in the bar/restaurant with helpful knowledgable friendly staff.

  • 5 out of 5 Great 4 ball day out

    By Bandits got my horse

Played on 25/06/14 in a 4 ball, it was our first time at Hampton Court and had read some good and bad reviews before playing. We where met at the Clubhouse by a senior member of staff who assisted us with QA's that we had. We new after reading up that this course was not going to be the easy but we took the course in our stride, course management is key to this course. You have to be straight so don't think about using your driver all the time. The greens where in tip top condition along with the bunkers. A great day was had by all, this is one course you should try. Great value for money, great clubhouse with lovely food and great service. With play here again.

Fantastic course, great layout, great greens, unbelievable wildlife. Very challenging, still managed 30 points playing off 17, excellent condition throughout, made to feel very welcome by all members and staff. Would definitely be playing this course again soon.

  • 5 out of 5 A proper Golfer's Golf Course

If you're not Tiger, don't take the Tiger line! The rough will punish you... The roaming deer and quiet setting make for a fabulous round of golf, just play like your life depends on it!

  • 4 out of 5 When the wind blows!!!!!

    By jacksonnick2002

This is my local course and is a lovely short course, that on a fine, sunny calm day, you can tear up....however,those days are few and far between as I have never played on a more windy course. Its very flat, and very open set in the stunning grounds of Home park, and Hampton court palace. the rough can get thick, and so many of your shots feel like your going into the wind somehow, it feels and plays like a links course, but is 100 miles from the coast. having grown up on links golf, it is a enjoyable course. In an ideal world, it would be longer, but it is good fun as it does make you think about what shots to play. Worth a visit
