Shirley Park Golf Course

What we say

Although created by Tom Simpson and Herbert Fowler a century ago, Shirley Park remains something of an unsung hero in this star-studded neck of the golfing woods. But it has so much going for it: it’s ultra-friendly, provides a great examination of parkland golf and has been boosted by the recently renovated clubhouse.

Established in 1914, Shirley Park Golf Club, located just outside Croydon, offers an 18 hole course. The course features tree-lined fairways and strategically placed bunkers, making for a challenging game of golf for any golfer, beginner or experienced.

Not for the long hitters, made every par 5 in two but overall had a great day out at Shirley Park. Really nice atmosphere and the course is very well maintained. The signature par 3 was one of the best I've played. Definately worth the trip
