  • 4 out of 5 Very enjoyable beginners course

    By Jonno

Down from london on a work trip and decided to try out the course after a local restaurant owner's recommendation. A beautiful Cotswold feel to the course, not too challenging but a stream and pond spread over the course certainly make you consider club selection. I'd definitely recommend this course for beginners and intermediate level players. Staff were very friendly.

  • 1 out of 5 Incredible! (but in a really bad way.)

    By ludekmiklosko

This is the ultimate hackers course shoe horned into some farmers fields. The greens are brown and carved up, the tees are undulating, the fairways are like the first cut of rough at most courses and the first cut is way too long. The only 'greenkeeper' is a non golfing farmhand who confided in my playing partner that he thought a lot of golfers were "twats". The bar facility is a coffee machine in the shop and the miserable farmer behind the till will possibly put you off a post round beverage or make your milk go sour Apart from that the course is fine..

  • 3 out of 5 beginners luck

ideal course for beginners or just to keep up that swing. no bunkers but a small fast flowing stream runs through added to the pond hidden off the 2nd tee adds some spice. greens are a bit on the slow side but generally a good course to play. prices are great.

  • 3 out of 5 Good challenge well laid out

I was suitably impressed by this course. The welcome was very friendly by staff and patrons alike. The driving facilities are not great but he lay out of the course makes up for it. Good challenge for all levels. The course needs a little maturing, but generally good.
