What we say

You can SAVE up to 47% by booking your next tee time on line.

The midweek cost of playing such a good venue has to be the outright winner in this section, with a twilight round (after 4pm) set at an amazing £11.40 from Monday to Thursday, £12 on Fridays and £15 at weekends. The course itself is set in attractive, gently rolling land with some nice mature trees and hedges, and comprises a good mix of holes. It is kept in really good nick, and the modern clubhouse and practise facilities (including a 33-bay covered driving range) complete an impressive golfing complex.

The Blue Mountain Golf Centre is situated 10 minutes from the M4 & M3, the parkland golf course featuring numerous water hazards so make sure you take plenty of balls with you... just in case.

It is a fine example of a modern-day golfing complex, boasting excellent teaching and practice facilities - group or individual tuition is available seven days a week.

Of course the main 18-hole golf course is the no. 1 attraction but you name it, Blue Mountain has it including a golf shop, buggies, 33-bay driving range and clubhouse with bar and restaurant. There's also a range of function and executive conference rooms.

  • 4 out of 5 Worth playing

I've played this course many times over the years and it is always enjoyable both in winter and summer with friendly staff. There is a nice mixture of both short and long par fours, only two par 5's going out but long par 3's that you have to work for. The greens are huge and in good condition most of the year. The only negative I would say is the state of the tees, but they have been working on addressing this.

Of what I saw of the course, it seems like a decent one. Possibly a little on the short side if you're a reasonable hitter and quite wide. The big problem is the pace of play. We played 14 holes in 4 hours because there are so many societies that play here. It was dark by the time we got to the 15th. If you can handle stupidly slow play then it's not a bad course.

The course is a nice relaxed course that is not overly hard. The only things that let it down are the greens are played all year round so they can be a bit bouncy and the tees in the nets on the 12 and 13 to avoid hitting it right.if the tee boxes are at the back its almost impossable to get out

Our golf day on June 16th was a complete and utter success down to the organisation and welcoming attitude of the Blue Mountain staff and fellow members. We were made to feel welcome and like full members on our day.

  • 4 out of 5 Not so Blue Mountain!!

I played this course as part of our regular society. The weather was superb and the course was in great condition. I have played the course a few times now and never get bored as each hole seems to bring its only challenge, either from the tee shot to a well placed bunker or a tricky to read green. On the whole the greens a relatively large so dont punish the middle to high handicaper but still reward the bandits(sorry low handicapers). This course is well worth a visit for all abilities if your in the area.

  • 3.5 out of 5 A great day for great golf

Played yesterday with a mate. The weather was amazing and the course looked and played great. My golf was another matter and definitely needs work, but I guess that's why I'm on this website.
