Bramshaw Golf Club – Manor Course

Last Updated:

What we say

The Manor Course opened in 1970 and is set amidst the beautiful New Forest in landscaped parkland of mature trees and 200-year-old hardwood plantations: it is surely among the finest and most picturesque courses in the South of England.

The Manor layout is gently undulating, with excellent fairways and greens, and is a stern test of golf...for any golfer.

It is also the home of the Forest course which was built privately on New Forest heathland in about 1865 and is believed to be the oldest course in the county.

spent a few days in the new forest and felt like taking the clubs with me. Bramshaw is locally well known and was suggested, so i played both courses. the manor is well designed, not too long or difficult, but really enjoyable to play with some excellent holes, but what impressed me most was the condition. bunkers perfect, fairways like greens, and not a single bobble on smooth greens. price was good, and i suggest the around £50 price for both courses in one day for a diffferent test. top course, well worth playing and id happily drive a couple of hours to play it again sometime. its also nice to play well on a course as well, as it stays in your memories!!!
