What we say

Our club was founded in 1905, and many improvements over the years have ensured that the course remains a good test for all standards of golfers. The five par three holes have proved a challenge to many a good card, and in the teeth of a strong South-westerly you can forget you are actually one-mile inland when driving into the breeze!

It is a course that you never tire of playing, and it's a course that will not tire you. A comfortable walking course, but still requiring thought and planning in order to score well, which both high and low handicappers will find most enjoyable. It has produced many fine golfers over the years, including a Ryder Cup player.

Our modern Clubhouse provides a friendly and comfortable atmosphere in which to relax after a round of golf and provides an ideal venue for the many social events we hold throughout the year.
