What we say

The Church course opened in 1975 and has matured into a picturesque parkland. After a gentle start, the course presents its first big challenge on the 4th with trees (a regular feature) and a steep slope providing plenty to think about. Highlight is the 13th – at 621 yards one of the longest par-5s in Europe.

Our Main Golf Course was opened in 1975 and has matured well over the years. We have many different tree species and lovely views over the neighbouring countryside. The 13th is our signature hole and was, for many years, the longest hole in Europe at 636 yards.

The additional 9-hole Golf Course was opened in 1991 and is known as the White Course. At 2350 yards it consists of par 3s and par 4s and is an ideal golf course for beginners, and is also a good test of golf for the more experienced golfer. Play on this golf course is on a turn up basis but we do offer a season ticket for twelve months.

    Very well maintained greens very friendly helpful staff. Great round of golf. Would lay again. The 13th hole is very long. The course overall is challenging but fun will test your driving and short game.

    Probably one of the best value courses you'll ever play. Course always in great condition. Greens superb. A really good test of positional golf. Staff polite and friendly. Good value in the club house. A must play in my opinion.
