Visitors can only tackle the Old – it’s members and guests only on the New. The pick of the holes are the par-5 3rd and the 12th which share a dramatic green. Owned by Tokyo Leisure, you can enjoy a post-round sushi and japanese. At £25 a hit in midweek (until April), the Old is great value.

Situated in Bedwell Park in the scenic, rolling countryside of rural Hertfordshire. As well as the two 18 hole courses there is a 9 hole pitch and putt. The club house boasts a well stocked pro shop and a japanese hot spa and sauna. The Old course was designed by Fred Hawtree and opened in 1976. The course is quite undulating, many golfers use a buggy. The 6th and 18th offer the most sweeping views.

    Overall a good course to play, played low season and a lot of the yellow tees pushed forward but still a good test, bunkers and greens excellent for time of year, good range of holes, superb value on 2fore1, hopefully get time for another visit in the summer to compare the diffrence. worth the visit.
