Hamptworth Golf Club

What we say

Well established par-70 parkland layout a short drive from Salisbury race course. It majestically weaves its way through ancient woodland and features a double green (9th & 18th) and the river Blackwater on several holes.

Hamptworth Golf Club boasts one of the finest courses in the South of England, the course has a fine reputation and has held some major professional events in its short but prestigious time.

The par 72 course gently weaves its way through the ancient woodland of the Hamptworth estate giving you the impression that the course has stood here for more than 100 years.

The course is the perfect mix of forest, downland and intriguing water hazards, most of which are the result of the river Balackwater meandering its way through the course giving it its very own natural qualities.

But beware of 'The Beast' - the 16th is probably the longest you will ever play at 666 yards and one of only a handful of Par 6s in the world!
