Royal Town of Caernarfon Golf Club

What we say

Sitting between the Mountains of Eryri and the Menai Straits, the club can boast some magnificent views. Having been established for over 100 years it has become an important part of the community of Caernarfon and surrounding area. It has true running greens and some challenging holes. Standing on the 1st tee you will find it difficult to think of a better place to start a round.

Home to the Welsh Girls Championship 2013.

The course offers wonderful panoramic views of the Snowdonia mountain range with equally stunning views of Anglesey and some of its beaches. Although in close proximity to the sea, Caernarfon is a parkland course, with true running greens and lush fairways. Providing a challenge for all skill levels and measured at just under 6,000 yards, it requires accuracy and good course management. Our aim is to provide hassle free enjoyable golf.

  • 3 out of 5 Well Worth A Visit !!

    By stoyer64

Played twice in 5 days - Was visitng the area. Take two2one,s therefore well worth the money. Tee's and greens were in good condition. Grass on the fairways was just the right heigth for me as a high handicap player. Shot a 93 & 92 so I was made up. We were not disappointed at all - would certainly play there again. BUT, we did suffer a female member (yes member) teaching a non-player the whole 18 holes !! It was a nightmare, tuition on every single shot. I would estimate a round of about 250 ! - Honest. But that was not the clubs fault - that member should be shot. Great course and fantastic views, try it.
