What we say...

A GPS unit for less than £100 sounds intriguing and although our testers found it a bit basic they still voted it the Best Value on test. They were impressed with how quick it was and its ease of use and Jon described it as a brilliant entry level product. David said it gave all the key info needed in terms of the green but it was let down on the versatility ranking with less information than the other GPS devices on test. A top budget option.

  • 5 out of 5 Caddy Lite. Brilliant

    By jgriff

Have owned mine for nesrly a month. Wouldn't be with out it! Basiclly it tells you how far to the main hazards and front of the green. As you get nearer it will tell you how far to Front, Middle and Back of the green. No questions, doubts or indicision any more. Just factor in the wind and learn how far you hit your clubs, which the Caddy lite will alsi help you with, and away you go. With the correct distances guarenteed it will help you shoot lower scores. I have matched my best score this year twice already since using mine and I haven't played that well. Through experience I know that i owuld have been at least 5 shots worse off without this piece of technology. Get it now!!

  • 5 out of 5 Golf Plus Caddy Lite review

    By thermite

Got my Caddy Lite by courier yesterday, registered it online and loaded the course map for my local club and went straight out to play. All I can say is, this does exactly what it's supposed to, tells you all the distances you need to know and it's straight forward, simple to use and like advertised, you don't even need to touch it while you're playing. Just leave it clipped to your bag, park your trolley next to your ball and you'll never need to look at a course planner or distance marker again. Great value for money compared to a lot of these GPS units out there too.
