VERDICT: The Flagfinder was a nice, compact bit of kit but our test team felt it lacked a little in quality, compared to the others.

They commented that the picture wasn’t as clear and even adjusting the lens couldn’t bring it into sharp focus.

They also felt the field of vision

was smaller and claimed the buttons didn’t feel good quality and they were too close together – resulting in the wrong button being pressed from time to time.

That said, it proved just as accurate as the others and was therefore very good value for money. Certainly worth a look if cost is key.

RATINGS (out of five):

I found the rangefinder to be very useful when finding ranges from ball to bunkers, streams, trees, obstacles and to the pin.The rangefinder does require a steady hand. Once the target is found the Flag finder gives a very accurate distance You can pay a lot more for other branded products that do the same job. On a price point I found this product to be competitively priced.
