Testers agreed this device is great for those golfers that play a lot of new courses and like a larger screen to be able to see all the hazards. Stephen and Joel felt is was too large, especially in width. All testers found the lack of auto-hole advance function frustrating and slowed their pace of play down. It was accurate, functional, but the touch screen posed a problem for Stephen.

The S430 is an upgrade on the previous Snooper model, the S320. The device boasts the largest screen on the market at 3.5in as well as a 14-hour battery life. It comes pre- loaded with more than 4,500 European golf course maps and has the capacity for up to 20,000 EU maps to be uploaded, with no subscriptions and no extra cost. The numerical system gives distances to key hazards while all manner of stats can be recorded in a round.
