What we say...
Mizuno has long-produced fantastic clubs, notably in the irons department. Luke Donald swears by his Mizuno kit and has been a staff player for many years. But the bags they’ve produced in the past haven’t always performed a similarly-impressive job – the Tour standbag from last year’s test was a bit on the heavy side, for example. But the Twister III has changed all that. Initially, our panel wasn’t hooked on the looks, but it eventually garnered a healthy 3.5 points from 5. Take a look at Issue 248 of TG to see exactly what the testers thought...
The Mizuno Twister III Stand Bag is a high function golf bag adapted for trolley use. A lower stand attachment allows the Twister III to sit snugly on the majority of trolleys. The large wrap around pocket can be detached, creating a slim carry bag for summer.
It features a 7 way organiser with 'divide and slide' technology and 8.5 inch top width and also includes a balance handle which re-balances the bag when loaded.
It features an AirFlow Hippad. The punched EVA allows air movement to reduce perspiration. There is also an Aerostrap incorporated, with a dual shoulder harness with IZZO® technology.
It has a stable wide base for quick stand release and with its wide feet, there is an improved grip on all surfaces.
The Mizuno Twister III Stand Bag has a hydro sleeve, with an easily accessible water bottle pocket.
A golf stand bag like the Mizuno Twister III Stand Bag is the preferred method of many golfers for transporting golf clubs and golf equipment round the golf course.
