What we say...

This is Srixon’s firmer feeling ball for 2009, and this was not lost on Malcolm who felt it was one of the firmest on test. He liked the solid feel off the tee, but struggled with his wedge shots as he lost a bit of response. Mark loved the Z-Star X’s distance – and the stats say it was the longest ball for him.

It is already performing heroics in the hands of Tour stars Ryo Ishikawa and Graeme McDowell. If Srixon’s recent heritage is anything to go by then this ball has a big future. With one of the thinnest (0.012in) and softest urethane covers on the market, it’s designed to fly higher and deliver greenside spin and feel while limiting spin off the driver for more distance – particularly for players with a swing speed of over 95mph. The Z-Star, a softer ball, is also available.

The 324 large seamless dimple design of the Srixon Z-Star X Golf Balls with ultra-thin soft cover gives remarkable spin and control. High initial velocity for greater distance. Superb spin performance on approach shots. Penetrating and stable flight in windy conditions for optimum distance.

Srixon’s first ever 4-piece golf ball boasts a large Dual-Core that creates maximum distance and spin control on long shots. The thin proprietary urethane cover delivers superb feel on all shots with consistent spin control on approach shots and around the green whilst the duel Energetic Gradient Growth™ core provides superb distance and a high golf ball flight whilst maintaining low spin to optimize driver performance .

The new four-piece dual Energetic Gradient Growth™ core provides the best distance in a premium offering while maintaining low spin to optimize driver performance

The Z-STAR XV is available in Pure White™ and Tour Yellow for added visual performance.
