What we say...
Sunderland of Scotland waterproofs have been the firm favourites of you, the Today’s Golfer readers, over the last few years – you always seem to vote them your number-one waterproof in the annual TG Awards.
This, the Player suit, will do a good job for you, even if we do reckon there are better suits available. Our trousers were absolutely huge, measuring 62cm around the thighs. Unless you have legs the size of Tiger Woods’, you could find yourself taking off in these in a stiff wind!
Joking aside, if you are the type of golfer who leaves their waterproofs sitting in the bottom of their bag for 51 weeks of the year, only calling them into action when it is absolutely teeming down, then these will not let you down.
The stiffer, noisy fabric won’t be to the liking of everybody, and it is likely to take up more valuable space and weight in your bag. But this suit is certainly a decent budget option.
