While this is a good-looking, high-tech piece of kit, it doesn’t quite top the TG scales. The slightly bulkier fabric is more restricting than our top-performing suits, although we have to admit that Sunice’s designers have pulled out all the stops to get the consumer’s attention: removable half sleeves and rain-channelled cuffs in a wetsuit-style fabric are all great additions, even if they didn’t quite win through on this occasion.

If you are wondering why all the Gore-Tex suits haven’t come out of this test with similar results, it’s because each one has its own unique feel, since different materials are used when creating various garments.
