2012 LONG TERM REVIEW

I have really enjoyed using this trolley and although I had some initial concerns about the battery connection being a little flimsy, I can happily report there is nothing problematic with the unit. It’s very much a no-frills trolley, but if you want something that is simple, easy-to-use and efficient, I would recommend it.

I use it probably three times a week, most weeks, so if there were going to be any problems I suspect I would have seen some sign of them by now. Although we’ve had some shocking weather recently, and obviously throughout the winter I can also say that it’s very easy to maintain – the black frame helps when it comes to cleaning, and the unit folds down small enough to fit into a car boot. Overall, there is nothing I can really fault on it – especially given the price.

2011 REVIEW

Tester: Dave Pratt, HCP 19

Pros: Being a one-piece trolley I found it really easy to prepare for my round. I like to keep my equipment in good condition and find that a quick spray from a hose leaves the trolley good as new. The charger takes up very little room and the connection is very simple and secure. The elastic straps hold the bag securely and don’t allow twisting which was a problem with my previous trolley. I like that I can set
the running speed to match my walking speed and then use the on/off switch when I am playing my shot thus saving the speed at the correct setting as soon as I turn it on again.

Cons: Much more difficult as I really like this trolley. If I am being extra critical, I find the elastic top strap which goes around my bag difficult to connect and disconnect, in fact I don’t bother any more and just slip it over the top of my bag. I am a little nervous of the battery connection for the trolley and the charger as they
would not withstand a heavy hand.

Conclusion: For a no frills trolley, this is as good as they come. The speed can be easily matched to golfers’ walking pace too.
