2012 REVIEW

What we like

The size is excellent – both when folded and unfolded. We were initially sceptical of four-wheeled trolleys because they are a real departure from the norm but it looks great and offers excellent stability. It’s also very well made and seems pretty robust as well as being packed full of features – including a huge storage bag positioned between the rear wheels. The bicycle-style handles are also very comfortable and the trolley is mobile and lightweight.

What we don’t like

The strapless design means you twist a dial to tighten the brackets around your bag. This means there are no straps flapping about when the trolley is folded but in truth it proved more hassle than the traditional design on other trolleys. It was also pretty difficult to unfold and the frame had to be physically pulled into place when opening. This did get easier after a couple of attempts and may loosen over time, but it proved frustrating.

With the Micro Cart, Sun Mountain offer an easy to push trolley option, this time with 4 wheels. There are many distinct advantages to the MicroCart design, its small folded footprint and ultra light weight make the cart easy to get in and out of your vehicle. With the patented four-wheel design, the cart has an extremely low center of gravity which results in superior stability on the course.

It also features an adjustable handle, a all new rear storage pouch now included with every cart, smart brackets are adjustable to secure your bag without straps, solid-foam tires roll easily and require no maintenance and an accessories panel that is loaded with features: padded valuables tray, ball marker, scorecard holder, drink holder, plus pencil, tee and ball holders

Sun Mountain Electric Trolleys User Reviews

Excellent trolley but not in very windy conditions as it is very light and the wind blows it over and the cart just falls out. I have had it for a year now and some parts are beginning to get quite rusty!
