What we say...

This was another club that split opinion with David and John again liking the feel and forgiveness of the VX Proto. David particularly liked the muted ‘click’ noise at impact and felt the face was pretty powerful while John said the head felt solid and stable. Pro Chris and Leon weren’t convinced and said it felt a little dead off the face. However Chris liked the more penetrative ball flight he got with it and both he and Leon were impressed with the quality of the stock Aldila shaft in a driver of this price. Leon did say that unless he caught it out of the ‘screws’ he didn’t feel as if it went very far and this showed in his distance stats.

Ratings (out of 5):

Looks: 3   Feel: 2.9   Noise: 2.8   Forgiveness: 2.8   Distance: 3.8   Dispersion: 3.8

The Benross VX Proto driver has a quality Aldila shaft, rarely found in a driver at this price. The driver uses the same head technology used within the VX Proto PVD driver to create a high-launching, stable driver designed to suit the club golfer.

Teaming the high performance VX Proto head with an Aldila DVS shaft means the club golfer can launch drives on a powerful trajectory to maximise carry distance.

And at less than one hundred pounds it's impossible to argue that this is not incredible value for money. Benross continues to make great drivers at great prices.
