What we say...

Tech:

A simple “front to back” CG weighting system means you can dial in either a higher towering or lower more penetrating ball flight. A speed channel around the face perimeter and a variable face thickness increase ball speeds across the face. An adjustable 8-way hosel lets you tune loft to your own game and dial in either a neutral or draw bias.

Our verdict:

The F6 is an all titanium head so the amount of weight you get to affect launch and spin is limited to 10g instead of the 18g you’ll find in the F6+.  We saw about 300rpm difference switching the weight from front to back and two out of three testers hit their longest F6 drives with the weight in the forward position. That’s got to prove so long as you don’t have an issue getting shots airborne then low spin can equate to increased distance. All testers really liked the head shape and felt the all titanium head sounded fantastic.

Bottom line:

The titanium crown does limit the impact of moving weight as there’s more weight higher in the club, but simply put a very good driver for lots of club golfers. If £250 is your absolute budget for a 2016 driver you’ll struggle to beat the F6 and its adjustability.
