What we say...

The club is is a huge improvement over the 2005 version. MacGregor has reverted to a black, boxy, powerful looking head that sits brilliantly behind the golf ball.

Acoustically we reckon this is one of the best drivers we hit, and the pear-shaped head will appeal to purists. Our only gripe is the lack of an alignment aid, which for a lot of club golfers could lead to indecision at address.

The MacGregor Mac Tec NVG 2 utilises Cup face 360 technology; meaning the entire face becomes the sweetspot. Centre of gravity is 8 per cent lower than a standard one-piece structure.

Macgregor Drivers User Reviews

  • 1 out of 5 MacGregor? Where?

    By SteveSlice

I'd love to add a review but there is a MacGregor conspiracy. NOBODY sells the clubs at least not in the South East of England, they are either not stocked or unobtainable. The MacGregor website fails under its European access so no stockists can be found. The few people who have stocked MacGregor no longer seem to. Even the your TG website under "Gear" doesn't list MacGregor! Perhaps they don't exist? Should one buy clubs from manufacturers who don't seem to care about the UK/Europe market?

Lokks great behind the ball and sounds great even on off centre hits. Greg Norman said this driver crushes the ball further and he is right. Gets a thumbs up in all departments
