What we say...

Tested: March 2011

Test Team:

Chris Ryan (Pro)

Jon Greathead (HCP 8)

Bryan Slater (HCP 12)

Darren Slater (HCP 16)

Verdict:

Jon was flying with this product, and reckons it’s the best driver MD has made to date.

Bryan felt he got good feel off the face and was pleasantly surprised when we unveiled the price to him.

His super-tight consistency rating helped elevate the Superstrong in the final reckoning.

So what let it down? The guys thought it might not have looked as good as some others on test, but if you don't mind how it looks at address, this is an excellent product for the money.

It’s just amazing how MD Golf can produce clubs of this quality at a price that could conceivably be doubled and still be great value. It’s like getting a new BMW and paying for an old Fiat. We can’t speak highly enough of the Northern Irish firm and the new Superstrong is the latest off their conveyer belt of excellence. Featuring a 460cc head, the new product is super-forgiving and the centre of gravity is positioned low and deep to ensure a powerful ball flight. MD Golf – top quality gear and super-affordable.

I bought that club and played it once as my friends couldn't bare the sound of it; I regret my purchase and won't by MD anymore!!!
