The excellent Grafalloy shaft and Lamkin grip show the company’s dedication to quality, and helped it to notch up an impressive 301-yard average carry.

There’s nothing to dislike about the club: it’s unfussy and what most club golfers need. Our only concern would be the crowded £99 price point, where there is serious competition.

The MD Golf Superstrong EQL Driver has a beta titanium head promoting a high launch and it is available with varying degrees of loft. It comes in both mens and womens models.

    YOU DONT SEEM TO LIST EITHER OF THESE ALTHOUGH TODAYS GOLFER RATES THE HYBRIDS WITH A GOLD AWARD. IT ASLSO HIGHLY RATES THE FAIRWAY WOODS. FAIRWAY WOODS - EXCELLENT CLUBS HYBRIDS - ON A PAR WITH THE OTHER TOP BRANDS AT A MUCH MORE RESPECTABLE PRICE AS IS THE DRIVER. WITH THE GRAFALLOY BLUE SHAFT 65 AS STANDARD, A TOP CLASS HEAD AND GRIP AT THESE PRICES SHOWS ONE WHERE ALL PRICES SHOULD BE.

    SUPERB FEEL AND DISTANCE. EQUAL OR BETTER THAN ANY OTHER DRIVER REGARDLESS OF PRICE. MD HAVE A WINNER HERE BUT I BET MOST PLAYERS DONT KNOW IT AS THEY THINK THE CLUB MUST BE POOR DUE TO THE CHEAP PRICE OR ARE BRAND CONCIOUS. HOW WRONG CAN THEY BE.

    Congrats on the win..... Based on last weekend's figures (a net three under) i am looking for something similar. I cannot get over how easy the club is to use and how straight the ball flies. Still top marks to MD - and hopefully me! My mate (Yonex Cyberstar) had a punt and couldn't believe how well he hit the ball with it either. Loosened him up for his own club too - worse luck!

    Have the complete MD Golf range (driver - tungsten ti irons) this smashes the ball for miles and straight with very little effort. Went one better than previous review and won our opening society day! Trust me, they work.

    Picked this up on saturday with a full set of MD gear (inc the matching fairway woods, Tungsten Ti irons, Players wedge, etc.) Walked away on sunday's society match with longest drive trophy. I am not a big hitter but with the sheer straightness of the club the carry took it a clear 25 yards ahead of the competition.
