What we say...

Without doubt one of the stand-out surprise results from our test. Chris gave it a maximum for feel, and commented that it felt “surprisingly solid even on bad shots”. Roy also felt it was a very decent option, especially for the money but where both guys had a slight issue was the grip. They felt that for such an impressive club, the grip felt a little on the cheap side.

This won good marks for distance and dispersion from our pro Chris and did well in both these categories overall. While Chris was impressed by the performance he didn’t feel as confident with it, suggesting it felt a little unstable at impact, almost feeling that hitting the ball affected the angle of the clubface. David, however, felt this was a really solid, meaty driver with plenty of weight and he got good distance with it as well – although he was a little bit wayward at times. John didn’t feel as if there was much life in the clubface and that showed in his individual distance stats and his 'feel' rating, although this was one of his straightest on test.
